I have written two feature articles on the state of football in Puerto Rico for World Soccer and In Bed With Maradona. My initial piece was on the rise of the sport in a country which is dominated by American sports such as baseball and basketball. However, the small island in the Caribbean has since taken a backwards step in terms of the potential growth of football and this is covered in the second piece.
